A Bit About Me

Flow Nutrition is a London and Worldwide based nutritional consultancy. Jo at Flow has 22 years experience in the area of health and nutrition.

Like many nutritional therapists, I came to the profession through my own health issues 22  years ago after being rushed to hospital twice for IBS. I ate well but nothing the Allopathic doctors recommended helped me at all so decided to delv deeper & research extensively as I was i so much pain. I needed to understand what was going on for me and that started my evolving journey into Naturopathic Nutrition. My own research and consequential 3 years training strengthened my belief in the power of water, food, mind, positive self belief and nature to balance the human body and keep it in optimal health.

I am passionate about empowering individuals to take responsibility for their well-being through education on managing lifestyles in order to prevent illness and strive for vitality.

I love both Raw, Real and Reliable food, I eat at least one Avocado every day and use Raw Coconut Oil in my cooking on my skin, hair, nails and teeth and ♡♡ preparing all food that is empowering energizing,  delicious and good for you!

I offer a very personal experience that may include any of the following:

Individualised nutrition plans for addressing health  improvement or weight loss,

Nutrition education seminars,

Nutritional consultations and meal plans,

Interactive and impactful wellbeing workshops and webinars for employees at Warner Brothers. Participants will come away from this session with the understanding and importance of self-care, practical techniques for self-care, increased self-awareness, connection with others, and inspiration to prioritize self-care in their daily lives for better physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing.

I ran a series of 'Beat the Bloat' retreats and workshops for a company called Relaxa where I went into many of the following companies to enhance their staff's mental and physical wellbeing; MTV, WARNER BROTHERS, JOHN LEWIS, WAITROSE AND MARKS & SPENCERS.

“Gut health” has become a trendy topic, but everywhere you look a different “expert” has a different answer. Trying to decide what applies to you can be really overwhelming. Searching for practical ways to spend less time in the bathroom or not having to unbutton your pants after a big meal again may leave you even more confused... 

 

  • “I don’t know where to start.” 

  • “One website tells me to eat more fiber, and another source says to do the exact opposite… what am I supposed to do?”

​Finding the information you need to actually get relief shouldn’t be this hard or inconsistent.  After 4 years of practice and seeing so many patients, I’ve learned that when you understand why you are bloated you can more easily take control and take the steps needed to get finally get relief. They can make the decisions they need in order to feel better… Which is why I wanted to teach you the “3 Surprising Reasons You Can’t Beat the Bloat.”
